The first Slovakian concert of the legendary American hard rock band will be the grand finale of Topfest PLUS festival. Recent band members are frontman Axl Rose, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, lead guitarists DJ Ashba and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson and drummer Frank Ferrer. Axl Rose is the only remaining original member of the band whose first album Appetite for Destruction (1987) is still the most successful debut album of all time. It contained a well-known hit Welcome to the Jungle. Who would not know other songs like Sweet Child o' Mine, Paradise City, November Rain, You Could Be Mine, Don't Cry or Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Start of event Top Fest Plus is at 6 pm. Opening act will include performances by: Dorian Grey, Siempre, Arakain and others. GUNS N' ROSES will perform later in the evening.

Bratislava saw the world premier of Lord of the Dance's newest show in October 2011. The preparation, changes, and remake of the overall design, took almost a year to complete making it one of the most successful dance shows in the world.Changes in performance, costumes, choreography and an updated stage complete with big LED screens, will showcase the new 2012 show. The paradox is that since the original world premier show July 2, 1996 created by Michael Flatley in Dublin, there haven't been any changes, until now. Management decided that it was time for some changes to keep the show fresh, and rivaling similar calibre shows. Since their successful premier they are currently performing to full houses in Germany. They will continue on to England for 120 scheduled performances through April, and are scheduled to return to Slovakia sometime later in the year.
